:: Bryan Agran ::
Since 1989, Bryan has worked in local television (NBC, WB, FOX, and CBS) as a commercial, news content, and television show producer in the Vermont broadcast market. With the exception of one year spent in New York City, working for E-m@gine (a Virgin owned Digital Post Production facility) Bryan has tirelessly worked with Vermont business owners, public service groups, local organizations and students with the focus of helping to create a better sense of community.
Bryan has served as Commercial Producer, Promotion Director, Creative Service Director, Sales Manager, Internet Sales Director, Special Projects Producer, Manager of a Community Citizen Journalism web portal, Co-founder of Richmond Film Festival, and a teacher.
For the past 5 plus years, Bryan has worked as an adjunct instructor with Champlain College teaching Mass Communications and A/V Digital Editing. He also works full time at WCAX-TV as a special projects producer, helping expand the role of the WCAX.com website.
Bryan recently finished a Masters study in “The Loss of ‘Local’ in Local Media” and would like to help VCAM producers expand the role of civic engagement through the use of media tools.
