VCAM Space is a fine arts venue offering big walls, open space for curated group and solo exhibitions of 2 months duration.  Furthermore, and uniquely so, VCAM  offers the technologies of digital video production and broadcast and the potential for digital documentation for the art.

The reach of the works shown at VCAM Space is more widespread than the typical press releases, announcements and receptions of an exhibition world.  An exhibiting artist can take advantage of the state-of–the-art equipment to document their work or to actually manifest it (dance installation pieces being filmed in the VCAM black-box studio, for example).

VCAM Space has presented many artists in a series of exhibitions. The works exhibited span a range of mediums including detritus constructions, watercolors, site-specific installations, photography, canvases, performance art and metal sculpture.  Each individual approach is unique, whether en plein-air, woven, assembled, welded, or run over with a 4-ton road asphalt roller.

Part of our objective is to raise awareness of the presence of art in our community. As future possibilities surface, it is our hope the VCAM Space will enhance the vibrancy of the arts community not only here in the south end of Burlington, but throughout our surrounding region and ultimately the world.

VCAM is proud to be a participating site in both the First Friday Art Walk and SEABA's South End Art Hop. (The VCAM Space is located in the buliding just behind Flynndog)
