Become a Member
Membership has its privileges! Any individual who lives or works in VCAM's service territory can become a member of VCAM, free of charge. VCAM membership is required in order to use VCAM's services, equipment, and facilities.
A VCAM Orientation is required for membership. Orientations are generally offered on the first and third Saturdays of each month at 11:00 a.m. at the VCAM studio. Check here to see when our next orientation is scheduled. If you are unable to attend one of the Saturday orientations, call VCAM (802-651-9692) and we can schedule one with you. Please bring a valid photo ID with you when you come for an orientation.
VCAM membership includes access to a wide variety of digital video and audio production and post production equipment and facilities*, as well as training opportunities, workshops, and software, and of course access to VCAM's local cable television channels.
If you live outside the VCAM service territory, there is probably a center like VCAM that serves your community. Vermonters should consult this map and directory to find the community media center that serves your area. If you cannot locate your local media center or if you are not served by a center in your local area, call VCAM and we can consult with you about how to get your non-commercial media needs met.
* Some of VCAM's facilities may require additional certification over and above VCAM Orientation.
