Get Involved at VCAM
VCAM is a community media center, working to bring Vermonters like you free access to media making gear, training, and broadcasting of your content on television, the web, and soon low-power radio. To make our center really hum, we rely on the skills, talents, and time of many volunteers. There are scores of ways to be involved in VCAM, find your niche below.
Build a radio station — 99.3FM, WBTV-LP
Mic check, one, two, one, two. Is this thing on? Nope, not yet. But! with the help of dozens and dozens of locals, we will soon be on the air at 99.3FM for low-power community radio as WBTV-LP. To make this happen we have a lot to do — fundraise, build the actual station, recruit radio programmers, and build the leadership of the station. Help us put the community in community radio by volunteering with the station. More info can be found at the station's website.
Map the future of VCAM — VCAM's Board of Directors
VCAM is governed by a community Board of Directors made up of professionals, media lovers, and VCAM members. Elected by the VCAM membership each April, the VCAM board gives you a chance to guide the vision of our media center. How cool! Right? Learn more about the board and consider running for a spot in the spring.
