The board returns from at site visit to 700 Mt. Philo Rd for an application for a Highway Access Permit, which they then grant at the meeting. A paving contract is awarded, penalties for late filers of Homestead Declarations are waived, the contract is renewed with the VT State Police and they are added to the Preferred Vendor List, the agricultural lease for the Burns property is renewed, and the Animal Control Housing Agreement is renewed with Comfort Hill Kennel. The board discusses the Juvenile Diabetes Ride to Cure event and the Lake Champlain Open Water Swim Race with their respective event organizers. Two requests for use of the town's Conservation Fund are approved: the Burns property project with the Vermont Land Trust and the Charlotte Land Trust and Vermont Land Trust for Hinsdale project. The maintenance of the wastewater system serving town buildings and the Sullivan, Powers & Co. Scope of Services for FY17 audit are examined, and reappointments are made to the Conservation Commission and Trails Committee.
