How can the community support this effort? Are volunteers needed?
Oh gosh, yes! Building and maintaining the station will be (and is being!) done almost entirely by volunteers. This includes the on-air programmers. Right now, we need help with:
- Regular membership on the station building committees: RAC, Outreach, and Tech.
- Hosting one of our community listening sessions in your area of Burlington (securing a space, attending the session, helping to recruit people to attend).
- Special projects: database maintenance, grant writing, design work, and more.
- Internships (unpaid, but potentially for academic credit for high school or college students!)

How will this station be funded?
WBTV-LP will operate like all other non-profits, raising money from a variety of sources – events, grants, underwriting, and from individuals. We expect the WBTV-LP to be a member-backed station, with regular annual appeals for support.
How can I make a donation to WBTV-LP?
VCAM is the fiscal sponsor of the station, so all donations can be made through VCAM online or by check made out to “VCAM” and noted to be added to the “WBTV-LP Fund.” Mail checks to 208 Flynn Ave. 2-G, Burlington, VT 05401.
