Kay and Meg talk about the reasons why the Vermont Women's Fund was started and how the Fund's grants help to Change the Story for women in our state. The grants help women get the education they may need, train for non-traditional jobs, achieve economic independence and leadership positions.

The Vermont Women's Fund is celebrating its 25th year and they discuss the ways that women's lives have changed during those years.

The Women's Fund makes grants to promote ideas and support programs which focus on the needs of women and girls in this state, and to increase public awareness of these needs.

In addition, the Fund encourages women to think of themselves as philanthropists, helping them to recognize that they can make a real difference in their communities through charitable giving.

The Vermont Women's Fund provides an opportunity to make change possible for Vermont women and girls, and to expand and strengthen their roles in society.

Produced with facilities provided by Vermont Community Access Media (VCAM).
