This meeting starts off with the annual CBC report from the Village Dog Park Committee to the board.

Then Karen Horn, the Director of Public Policy & Advocacy for VT League of City & Towns, talks with the board about their 2016 Municiple Policy.

The board then reviews the second draft of the Capital Improvements Plan. A Public Hearing on October 13th and a Special Selectboard Meeting on September 29th to approve warnings for Bond Ballot Items are warned. The Bond Ballet Items include the Bay Road Bridge and Sewer Capital Improvements.

Two student members are interviewed and appointed to the Library Board of Trustees and the Shelburne Poet Laureate Program is considered for adoption.

The board then considers approving a FY2016 Municipal Planning Grant Application and signing a resolution for a Build-Out Analysis through the Municipal Planning Grant Program. See the Planning Commission's discussion of this topic here.

Finally, Peter Frankenburg gives an update about the status of the FY2015-2016 Budget for General, Water, and Wastewater before the board considers entering executive session to discuss collective bargaining negotiations with the New England Police Benevolent Association and to discuss response to the Town Legal Services RFQ.
