Sue Klebold: Author of "A Mother's Reckoning"
Sue Klebold is the mother of Dylan Klebold, one of the two gunmen responsible for the Columbine High School shootings of April 20, 1999 in Littleton, Colorado. Dylan and his friend killed twelve students and a teacher, and wounded more than twenty others before taking their own lives.
Klebold’s talk was followed by a Q & A and a panel discussion with Colchester School District Superintendent Amy Minor, South Burlington Police Chief Trevor Whipple, Howard Center Board of Trustees member Kelly DeForge, and Director of Howard Center’s Baird School and INCLUSION Program Kristie Reed. The discussion will be moderated by Charlotte McCorkel, Howard Center Director of Project Integration.
